Phone books on a shelf, a pan in the oven, keys that don't seem to have lock to match... It's not unusual that people leave a few "presents" behind when they move. But we bet you've found some really interesting things!

we were disturbed by a scratching on our door. This turned out to be caused by a puppy belonging to the previous occupants, who was evedently more attatched to his former home than his owners. Despite returning him to his owners (who lived 7 miles away)several times he kept returning. After some discussion we became the pround owners of a puppy named Scamp, and we are only slightly concerned that he may find his way home after our move next week.

We recently pulled down old wallpaper to find a wall that had been extensively decorated by the previous tenants' children. We felt terribly guilty covering it over again, so we took photos and mailed them to the parents.

14" shiny red stilettos, long blond hair wigs, large false strap-on breasts, pink spandex tights and lots and lots of duct tape! I think the previous occupant must have been an actor :)

Apart from the obvious cobwebs in and around the radiators I found numerous kiddies socks and little toys, so have started a carrier bag for them for when they call for post!

Found a jar of black gunge hidden away in the old fire grate, also found a Tawiz (asian curse) scrawled on a piece of paper, hidden under the old wallpaper by the front door...weird!

Previous owner left a wardrobe (which was full of clothes), a crutch and her contraceptive pills -nice! Friend of mine found a half used tube of Anusol in the fridge (presume for extra soothing...).

I've found pubic hairs (lots) in the freezer, and a rather unpleasant item in the toilet. The latter had obviously been there for many weeks and left a nice brown "halo" behind, which my husband very kindly scrubbed off.
